Bob Penland is a leader in the MSP technology community. As the Director of Technology for the MSP, Dynamic Digital Services, his guidance helped create a technical platform to support over 7,000 users. For the past 10 years, he has been the CTO of TruMethods. Bob is the architect of myITprocess, the industry’s first software platform that allows MSPs to develop a repeatable process to build high-value vCIO relationships.

Travis Brittain

Sales Engineer at IT Glue

Travis’ passion for technology lead him to Fully Managed, an MSP in Western Canada where his drive for process and clarity made a perfect fit to work on their new project: re-packaging their internal documentation tool to be sold as a SaaS platform. Later this platform became known as IT Glue, the world’s leading documentation solution. In 2016, Travis moved to IT Glue full-time and over the past several years has held multiple roles including Support Analyst, Partner Success Manager, and now Sales Engineer.


In his current role, Travis is responsible for helping IT teams explore the potential great documentation can bring to their organization.

Ryan Weeks

CISO, Datto

As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Ryan leads and manages Datto’s Information Security program, empowering Datto’s managed services provider (MSP) partners, and the small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) they serve, on their ongoing cyber resilience journeys. His work is directly responsible for helping MSPs and SMBs prevent, detect, and recover from cyber attacks. Ryan holds a seat on the Institute for Security and Technology’s Multi-Sector Ransomware Task Force alongside other global leaders, including Microsoft, Rapid7, and Citrix, where he represents the MSP community focusing on the cyber security interests and needs of SMBs. As a testament to Ryan’s deep commitment to safeguarding the world’s MSPs, he was recognized as a 2020 top 100 CISO by the Cyber Defense Awards.

Before joining Datto, Ryan spent 11 years securing enterprise applications, systems and sensitive customer financial data at FactSet Research Systems, where he orchestrated all facets of the global information security program. He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Ithaca College, a M.S. in Information Assurance from Northeastern University and has industry security certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Wes Spencer

CISO, Perch Security

Wes Spencer is a nationally recognized technology innovator and cybersecurity expert. He has served as a senior executive and advisor from Fortune 500 to venture capitalist backed startups. He is a dynamic and frequently requested professional conference speaker. Wes has served on multiple advisory committees with distinguished organizations such as American Banker, Sentinel One, and FS-ISAC. He currently serves on the Department of Homeland Security AIS advisory committee and is active in the STIX working group to continue to drive automation standards in threat intelligence sharing. By profession, Wes is the CISO of Perch Security. Wes is the senior executive focusing on internal and external cybersecurity for Perch. Wes provides thought leadership externally to organizations around the world in the area of threat intelligence and threat information sharing.

Matt Graeber

Matt has worked the majority of his security career in offense, facilitating his application of an attacker’s mindset to detection engineering which involves developing detection evasion strategies. By pointing out gaps in detection coverage, Matt is able to effectively offer actionable detection improvement guidance. Matt loves to apply his reverse engineering skills to understand attack techniques at a deeper level in order to more confidently contextualize them, understand relevant detection optics, and to understand the workflow attackers use to evade security controls. Matt is committed to making security research both accessible and actionable.
